Shooting Coach ("we", "our", "the app") is a pistol shooting analysis app. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account data: You can use the app without creating an account. If you choose to sign in with email or Apple, we store your email address. We also store a device identifier to manage credit grants.
Target photos: When you submit a photo for analysis, the image is sent to our server and forwarded to an AI service for processing. Photos are not stored permanently on our servers — they are used only for the duration of the analysis request.
Analysis results: We keep a record of AI-generated analysis results linked to your account. Your analysis history in the app is stored on your device and cannot be recovered if the app is deleted.
Purchase history: When you purchase credits, we record the product purchased, transaction ID, and credits granted. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple — we never see or store your payment details.
Dry-fire session metadata: Drill name, par times, string and set counts, total duration, and timestamp. We use this to understand which drills shooters use most. No audio, no video, no location.

Each service processes data according to their own privacy policies. Your target photos are sent to our AI provider solely for analysis and are not retained by them beyond the duration of the request.
Analysis results and account data are retained as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the app (Account tab > Delete Account), or by contacting us at the email below.
All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS encryption. Authentication tokens are validated on every API request. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Shooting Coach is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
